where Georgians with great ideas are identified, connected, and empowered to succeed

About The Wheelhouse

Our Story

On more than one day in Madison, Georgia, an entrepreneur and a real estate closer came together over common interests in business and investing. Working and spending time on other projects, soon their conversations turned to a more pressing common goal, “Doing well by doing good”. One way to do good, they discussed, was to encourage the success of new businesses in their own community. These two felt they each had access to business mentors, who could make that happen.

At the same time in another place, a serial entrepreneur and a financial specialist were having similar conversations. They have faith in their vision to successfully share their own experiences growing businesses. These two felt each had access to innovators, who have good ideas and the drive to make them happen. The two groups found each other while seeking an anchor for their common vision. The spark was ignited. The collaboration for The Madison Wheelhouse was confirmed.

Since then, new leaders have come alongside, ready to participate and work toward promoting the economic vitality and growth of our region. The founding group is encouraged by exciting partnership conversations with Georgia Tech, the University of Georgia, Morgan County High School’s Career Academy, local technical colleges, and local government officials.

We are encouraged by the current economic promise in Georgia. We are confident in organizing our team of mentors to empower a growing list of entrepreneurs, already identified. Through education, training, mentorship, and collaborations
