Sydney Fish Pilots Entrepreneurship Program at MCHS: A Georgia College & Career Academy

Sydney Fish is a senior Work-Based Learning (WBL) student at Morgan County High School who has created her own floral business, ‘Sydney’s Flowers and Floral Events.’

As Fish worked through her Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) project in her 10th-grade year, she stated that she “had an epiphany that she could grow this floral project into a profitable business.” With the mentorship of Rachel Kinsaul (FFA and WBL placement supervisor), Dr. Doug Arnold (Entrepreneurship Instructor), and Madison Wheelhouse (a local networking group of experienced entrepreneurs to share expertise and guidance) Fish began her work of building her business.
